Project Manager Guy Austin reveals the latest progress made in the build of the new Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One
Team (AMF1) campus, in the final factory update of the year.
AMF1’s state-of-the-art new home will be the first brand-new Formula One factory for 17 years and its build continues apace.
As the factory draws closer to completion, Project Manager Guy Austin explains how we’re working increasingly closely with our partners Cognizant, Juniper Networks, NetApp and SentinelOne to shape the digital future of the team.
We step inside the pattern shop, where carbon fiber parts will be produced for the F1 cars. Guy goes on to reveal how more of the key elements, such as ventilation and pipework, have been incorporated into the building and provides an update on the progress of the new wind tunnel.
He also takes us inside the large, open office spaces and the server room – set to be one of the first parts of the build to be completed.
