The victory in Miami was for Max Verstappen, while teammate Sergio Perez had to settle for fourth place after losing considerable power due to a sensor problem. Still, there is a small consolation prize for the Mexican and Red Bull Racing’s pit crew.
Fastest pit stop for Red Bull and Perez
The fastest pit stop was in fact made by Perez, who stopped in just 2.33 seconds on lap 41. The second fastest stop was for Lance Stroll, who finished a lap earlier in 2.45 seconds at Aston Martin. Verstappen completed the top three with an equally fast stop of 2.49 seconds on lap 26.

For Red Bull, it marks the second victory this year in terms of pit stops. Whereas the Austrian racing team was previously unbeatable in its fast stops, the new rules clearly make it more difficult. Nevertheless, the team is perfectly capable of competing with McLaren, which is at the top of the pit stop rankings.
