The Finn had to start his GP in Hungary in thirteenth place. However, Raikkonen was still motivated to get a better result for the team that would bring them some points in the championship.
Another obstacle that was thrown in his way was the time penalty for the unsafe release in the garage. Understandably, the Ice Man was furious, but he still huddled around the Hungaroring.

Raikkonen’s persistence paid off as they rose to tenth place and scored a point in Budapest. The Swiss team would have learned from this mistake and would be more cautious when it comes to the GP from Belgium to Spa.
The ice man hopes for merit rather than a promotion. He is hoping for a better result than Hungary and will give his team more points this season.
